FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I'd like to cover a whole wall with a decal, is that possible?

Yes. When it comes to vinyl material, no job is to big or too small. When you need to cover large areas of space, we can print your wall decal in sections (exactly like wallpaper). The strips will have an adhesive backing and can be applied exactly like wallpaper is...one strip at a time. When all the strips are in place, you wall will have a beautiful new look and feel.

Will the adhesive on the decal damage my wall?

No, it will not damage the existing wall, painted or not. The adhesive on the vinyl keeps your wall decal adhered to the wall without leaving any adverse effects when removed. At the most there might be a slight residue after peeling off your wall decal, if it has been up for a long period of time, but that is easily remedied.

I don't want a square/rectangular decal, can you die cut my wall decal?

Nine times out of ten the answer is "Yes We Can." When it comes to die cutting wall decals, it all depends on the file(s) we receive from our customers. Die cutting is only possible when you have an actual outlined shape to cut around. Vector based programs like Illustrator and Corel Draw give you the opportunity to create beautiful artwork with outlines for die cutting. But if your art file is non-vector based, no worries, give us a call, and we'll see what we can do to help convert your file for vector output to achieve your die cut decal needs

Are wall decals a completely do-it-yourself project?

Yes. Installing wall decals is essentially a one man (woman) show. All you really need to install your custom vinyl wall decal is some masking tape, a squeegee and a step-stool or ladder, depending on how high the wall decal will be placed. For larger wall decals, you may want to enlist the help of a friend, family member or co-worker...but otherwise all our u-apply vinyl and decals are easy to install from the beginner to the skilled professional. I only want one wall decal...do you have minimum order amounts?

No. Since we are a custom sign shop, we gladly welcome orders from 1 to 1,000 or more! There is an advantage to ordering more than just one decal at a time though. When you place a quantity order, your per piece pricing drops. So keep in mind that ordering (10) decals versus (1) decal may save you money in the long run.

Do I need to laminate my wall decal?

Lamination is not a necessity with wall decals. The lamination itself is to protect the print from the environment and also to preserve the print appearance against the elements. If you are installing your wall decal indoors, the lamination is completely optional. But keep in mind that the lamination is a great asset to protect your wall decal against any cleaning agents that may be used in the office to clean the walls or surrounding areas. If you are applying your wall decal on an outside facade, we highly suggest that opt for lamination. Laminate an outside applied wall decal will preserve the print as well as protect it from sun, rain, snow, etc.
