Are there any standard poster print sizes?

Here at OCSigns.com there are really no "standard" sizes for the products we carry. We are a custom, made-to-order, large format print facility. But, if you are looking for a common poster size, we could suggest 3' x 2' (that's a typical size for regular posters that you find in most retail stores.)

How long will your poster prints last?

Our poster prints are digitally printed with long-lasting, fade-resistant inks. Our poster prints generally last from around 2 - 4 years, but have been known to last longer, especially when laminated. But ultimately, our poster print longevity is determined by display methods, storage methods and care methods. What is the advantage of lamination on a poster print?

Lamination serves as a protective barrier. If you plan on displaying your poster print in an environment where it runs the risk of being brushed up upon or scratched in any fashion, then lamination is recommended. Also, laminating a poster print, helps protect the print from chemicals or cleaners that it may come in contact with. And since poster prints are printed on a paper medium, lamination also assists the material by adding strength to it's composition therefore making it harder to tear, crinkle or fold and reducing the risk of damage to the product.

Can I print an image I found on the Internet?

Generally speaking, the answer to that question, is no. Web based images tend to be very small in nature and when increased to larger print sizes, lose their clarity and become blurry and pixelated. With poster prints it is most desirable to provide a high-resolution image for optimal print quality. What if I need multiple prints of multiple images?

No problem. We can print any quantity and any design. And depending on the amount of prints you are producing, your per piece price lessens as your quantity rises. Please make sure to including the number of prints you will need for each separate images when ordering.

What is the best way to display my poster print?

Since poster prints have no adhesive backing and are also devoid of grommets for hanging, you might be wondering how to display your poster print. Well there are many different ways to display your full color poster print depending on how you will be using the print itself. You can use a Velcro hook and loop set; double-sided tape; encase the print in a frame or holder; use push pins or place the poster print inside a poster snap frame that can be purchased at a local art and framing store.
