What is the turn-around time on signs?
We have very quick turn-around times on most orders.
PLEASE NOTE: The term turn-around time, or production time, refers to the in-house production time it takes to complete an order for pick-up or delivery. Turn-around time does not begin until the customer has approved their order.
We run a very tight ship around here when it comes to turn-around times with most all of our products completed within two to three business days. Turn-around times can vary though depending on quantities or the type of sign ordered. But for the most part everything we produce can be turned around with a few days, sometimes even the same day. If you need a sign in a hurry, we can usually accommodate you, so ask your sales representative about quicker turn-around times if you are on a deadline.
Some of our most popular products which include the following: magnetic signs, decals, vinyl lettering, poster prints, printed banners, retractable banner stands and adjustable banner stands can be ordered and completed within 2 to 3 days. Other products like over-sized banners, dimensional lettering, flag banners and pole banners take a little bit more time to complete but can usually be ready for shipment or pick-up in about five to ten business days (depending on the product and/or quantities.)
And while our normal turn-around time is pretty quick once an order is approved, we can't control how quickly the order is approved by the customer. That is where the customer has an active part in the sign production process. All orders will receive a visual proof to confirm order artwork, quantities, product information, turn-around times and transit times. We do not move forward on any order, whether placed on the phone or via the internet, without approval of the customer's visual proof. If you do not approve your visual proof your order stays in limbo.
Also, artwork issues can pose a problem, so customers will need to make sure to stay on alert for any phone calls or emails alerting them to potential order problems. So if you have a sign deadline please make sure to stay on top of your order to make sure that it gets processed as quickly as possible.
And for the record, turn-around times do not include transit time. Shipping is completely separate from turn-around (production) time and needs to be considered when ordering. Transit times vary location and can be anywhere from 1 business day to 5 business days.
TURN-AROUND TIME EXAMPLE:
- Monday: An online order for (2) custom magnetic signs is placed on Monday.
- Tuesday: Visual proof is approved by customer. Order actively enters into production time.
- Wednesday: Order is still in active production.
- Thursday: Order is finished and shipped out.
- Friday-Wednesday: Order is in transit to Floria. (UPS does not operate on the weekends)
- Wednesday: Order arrives from UPS during their operating hours.
